Mike McKinley Joins Thacker Casket Manufacturing

CLINTON, MD – Thacker Casket Manufacturing announces that Mike McKinley has accepted the Quality Assurance Manager position in Florence, AL where the Thacker Casket Manufacturing facility is located.

McKinley will be responsible for designing and implementing continued quality improvement programs alongside the current manufacturing team.

“Mike will be a great addition to the Thacker Manufacturing Team. His years of casket related experience and his proven track record of quality implementation programs that produce results speak for themselves. Mike will be working alongside myself and Jim Spinks, our VP of Manufacturing to continue to deliver quality products for our valued customers throughout the country,” Justin Thacker, Director of Manufacturing said.

McKinley comes to Thacker from one of the leading casket hardware manufacturing companies, Geneva Manufacturing Corp., located in Geneva, IN. Mike has over 20 years of manufacturing experience in injection molding, finishing and metalizing of casket component parts. Throughout his career, McKinley has developed and implemented several International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and Technical Specification(TS) systems which are management systems aimed at the development of quality and continual improvement.
