10th annual awards will be presented on March 4, 2016 in Las Vegas
Jan. 21, 2016 – EVANSTON, IL – Legacy.com was named a Finalist today in the Customer Service Department of the Year category of the 10th annual Stevie® Awards for Sales & Customer Service, and will ultimately be awarded a Gold, Silver, or Bronze Stevie Award by the program.
More than 1,500 newspapers and 3,500 funeral homes rely on Legacy to host their online obituaries and provide customer support to the 38 million people who visit each month to mourn deceased loved ones and celebrate life stories. In 2015, Legacy.com’s customer service team responded to more than 85,000 inquiries, screened 12+ million Guest Book entries, continued development of a supportive team camaraderie and shared their learnings with the world through blog features.
“We understand that each obituary represents a person’s life, and our customer service team treats everyone with kindness and support. They understand that any person visiting our site or contacting us may be someone who has just lost a parent, spouse or child. They are truly the heart of the company,” said Steve Parrott, President and CEO of Legacy.com.
“You… have no idea of the impact you make on me,” shared one longtime Legacy.com user of his experience with the company’s customer service team. “When some days are a bit harder than others, it’s your [website] I turn to! I wish to thank each of you for your kindness and caring!”
