FrontRunner Professional Makes Local $50,000 Donation to Reflect the “Circle of Life”

Kevin Montroy, CEO / Founder of FrontRunner Professional Inc., announced a major gift of $50,000 to the University Hospital Kingston Foundation in support of the Extraordinary People-Innovation Health Care Program. The donation was made on behalf of the Montroy family and the staff at FrontRunner Professional.

Mr. Montroy cites, “We are all privileged to have the greatest level of care and caregivers in the world right here in our area, but we cannot afford to take it for granted. Through ongoing community support we can all help ensure we always have this level of care available. As a proud grandfather of my amazing twin granddaughters, my family and I witnessed firsthand, the level of care and commitment shown to them, and us, over their 4 months stay at NICU. It was this appreciation and gratitude that inspired us to want to do more”.

Given Kevin’s extensive background in funeral service and FrontRunner’s technology focus for funeral professionals, FrontRunner chose to make this donation to reflect the “Circle of Life” and have the donation split evenly between the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit as well as Labor and Delivery at Kingston General Hospital, the Urgent Care Centre at Hotel Dieu Hospital and the fund to rebuild Providence Manor at Providence Care.

Montroy adds, “with funeral service being an integral part of the caregiving team in this area, it is my hope that my colleagues and area funeral homes will also consider supporting the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation Campaign so that collectively we can all make a difference towards this very worthy cause.”

Nicole Pierce, Associate Director of Major Gifts adds, “thank you to Frontrunner and the Montroy family. We are so fortunate to live in a community where people like you are prepared to help us provide the best care possible for people of all ages.”
