Qeepr #Talkdeath Roundtable Major Success, Announces Next Edition Held at ICCFA in San Antonio Texas

Qeepr #Talkdeath Live Roundtable discussion with Caitlin Doughty and Lauren LeRoy reported as major success. The ICCFA convention will be the site the second #Talkdeath webseries.

Montreal, Canada – March 19, 2015 -Social memorial platform, Qeepr.com successfully held the first #Talkdeath live roundtable event on March 12th, 2015. Noted mortician, funeral director and New York Times Best Selling author, Caitlin Doughty was the first panelist and provided great insight into the world of “alternative” funerals. Doughty touched on modern approaches within the death industry, including green burials and home care. The second panelist, Lauren LeRoy, a twenty five year old New York State funeral director and blogger, answered questions based on her experiences within “traditional” funeral practices. LeRoy brought insights into her experience as a young, female professional and discussed the expanding possibilities for personalized services within the field.

The #Talkdeath roundtable was an industry first, streamed live to viewers via Google Hangouts On Air and YouTube. The Qeepr moderators asked the panelists questions that were sent in from the public via social media and each panelist was given a chance to respond. Qeepr Communications Director, Jeremy Cohen, proclaimed “it was really exciting to receive so many great questions for the panelists. Followers watching the event tweeted questions live, making it a very interactive discussion.”

Qeepr will be pre-recording the next #Talkdeath event at the International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association Convention in San Antonio, Texas from April 8 to 11.
