FDLIC Names Josh Koehler Market Center Manager
Funeral Directors Life Insurance Company (FDLIC), Abilene, TX, is proud to announce the addition of Josh Koehler as Market Center Manager (MCM) for the Northwest Ohio area.
“Josh has worked with us at FDLIC since June of 2014 as a Select Producer in the Dayton and Cincinnati area. During his time with us, he has proven to be a knowledgeable and trusted advisor to families, and we are proud to welcome him to our sales management team,” said Kris Seale, President and CEO of FDLIC.
Select Producers are FDLIC-employed preneed sales professionals who are held to the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and service to families. As an FDLIC Select Producer, Josh completed the most intensive sales training program available at FDLIC and excelled in his sales performance his first 6 months on the job.

Josh is a licensed funeral director as well as a preneed sales professional. He began working with FDLIC in 2014 as a Select Producer and quickly became a valued team member of each funeral home that he represented.
“I am honored to have been offered the opportunity to serve as a Market Center Manager in the state of Ohio,” said Josh. “I look forward to being part of the growth in Ohio as we continue to develop solid relationships with those funeral homes that want to grow market share and become more active in their preneed efforts.”
Josh completed his Associate’s degree from Marion Technical College and his B.M.S. degree at Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 2011. Josh was the recipient of the Ohio Embalmers Association Award. While in mortuary school, Josh met his fiancée, Whitney Heldman. Both now work in the funeral service profession and plan to marry in September of this year. Josh is a member of the International Bow Hunting Organization and is a big supporter and contributor for the Hunters for the Hungry program.
