OGR Annual Conference Introduces New Schedule And Supplier Showcase In Orlando, FL April 22-25, 2015
AUSTIN, TX – January 2015 – The International Order of the Golden Rule (OGR), the world’s leading professional association dedicated to serving independent funeral homes, will host this four day event including an all new schedule and a revamped showcase floor for its Annual Conference.
“We are excited about our new and expanded program that features an extra day for members to network outside the conference setting. We are introducing an updated and interactive show floor featuring innovative products and services,” said Mark Allen, Executive Director for OGR. “We will also present the 2015 Showcase Award to the exhibitor who demonstrates a unique way to support funeral directors and the families that they serve.”
Attendees and their guests will have many opportunities to expand their professional world. In addition to top-notch presentations, OGR will host three breakout sessions, two generous roundtable sessions to foster the exchange of ideas among attendees, and sessions on implementing Disney customer service strategies, reading body language for more meaningful funerals, and understanding the value of restorative art.
GSG Suppliers will be on hand in the Supplier Showcase to share how their forward-thinking products and services can help an attendee’s bottom line. OGR has a fantastic schedule of events planned for the four days in Orlando. Networking events, a Margarita Madness party, Awards Luncheon, and a Luau themed Banquet are just a few of the highlights of this year’s 56th Annual Conference and Supplier Showcase. With ample time between education sessions and the addition of an extra day, attendees will have the opportunity to explore Orlando’s many theme parks or tour a chocolate factory. Funeral service professionals should make plans to join industry leaders for what’s sure to be OGR’s best conference yet!
Founded in 1928, OGR is affiliated with more than 600 independent funeral homes that share common goals of exemplary service, uncompromising care and compassion to families in their time of need. For more information, visit www.ogr.org
