Funeral Directors Life Insurance Company (FDLIC) is proud to announce the recent promotion of Addison Templeton to Vice President of Administration.

Addison joined the FDLIC team in 2012 as the first participant in the company’s Leadership Development Academy (LDA), a program designed to grow and develop promising young leaders.

“Through the LDA, leaders have invested in me and helped me learn how to apply Christian principles to leadership opportunities in both my personal and professional life. It’s been an invaluable experience,” said Addison, who graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in economics in 2012.

After completing the LDA program in 2013, Addison was offered a position at the company as Director of Special Projects. At the end of 2014, the Board of Directors elected to promote Addison to Vice President of Administration. In his new role with the company, Addison will continue to oversee a variety of projects including facility renovations and projects designed to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

“I am deeply humbled and honored by this opportunity,” said Addison.  “I cannot think of a better company to be a part of. FDLIC is a true industry leader that places a high value on developing leaders at all levels of the company. I am grateful to be a part of such a great team.”

“We are all very proud of what Addison has accomplished so far,” said Kris Seale, President and CEO of FDLIC. “Addison has been a key leader in our organization since joining FDLIC as Director of Special Projects. He has assisted us in identifying and improving efficiencies and processes throughout the company. I look forward to watching Addison continue his growth and development for years to come within our organization.”

“I would especially like to thank Kris and the executive management team for the investment that they have made to mentor and develop me as a leader,” Addison added. “They have given me every opportunity to grow and succeed.”
