National Funeral Directors Association: A Message of Support for the Families of the Victims of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17

Brookfield, Wis. – The members of the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) extend sincere condolences to the families of those who were killed aboard Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 on July 17.
 
Delaying the identification and return of victims’ bodies causes additional pain and grief to those who mourn. NFDA urges all parties to demonstrate compassion to victims’ families by returning the bodies of those who died as swiftly possible so that grieving family and friends can lay their loved ones to rest and begin the healing process.
