CG Labs Appoints Jeff Harbeson as President and a Director of Company
CG Labs, Inc. www.cglabscorp.com announces the appointment of Jeff Harbeson as President and a Director of the company. “Jeff’s leadership experience from both business and military along with expertise in the funeral market provides us with a foundation of establishing our DNA service brands as market forerunners” says Founder & Chief Scientist Ryan Lehto. Jeff’s responsibility will be the “outside the laboratory” operations which include sales, marketing and distribution.
As CG Labs, Inc.’s flagship brand, DNA Memorial www.dnamemorial.com provides funeral consumers, through appointed funeral homes, the ability to collect and bank their deceased loved ones DNA. Says Harbeson, “Having been in the funeral industry for over 13 years, I’m excited to be on the forefront of an industry issue rather than catching up. Our proprietary process of binding DNA to silica which allows the DNA to be stored indefinitely at room temperature offers a solution for funeral homes and the families they serve. We all know that the cremation process is irreversible, all genealogical and medical DNA is destroyed by the cremation process and after burial, disinterment is costly; both emotionally and financially. It is our obligation to provide funeral professionals education, training and products to address the increasing demands of consumers.”
CG Lab’s also offers the Pet DNA Memorial www.petdnamemorial.com brand which successfully provides pet owners detailed breed genealogy as well as similar memorial products/services as DNA Memorial. “The pet and pet death care industry is an important part of our business and we are pleased to continue growth with this segment of our services,” says Lehto. The Secure My DNA www.securemydna.com brand was recently launched and is marketed to consumers in non-post death situations.
DNA Memorial will debut its new line of services and products at the CANA Convention in Minneapolis August 6-8. In the coming weeks, CG Labs, Inc. will be making significant announcements regarding their sales/distribution alliances as well as new additions to their product lines
