Brookfield, Wis. – The 2014 National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) Professional Women’s Conference will bring together funeral directors, educators, expert presenters and suppliers in a unique, intimate gathering to generate new ideas, foster professional growth and create lasting friendships. This conference, which is the leading gathering for women in funeral service, will take place April 25-27 at the JW Marriott Buckhead in Atlanta, Ga.
Attendees can look forward to engaging conference sessions led by funeral service experts covering a wide range of topics:

The conference begins on Friday, April 25 with a complimentary welcome reception at 5:15 p.m. Immediately following the reception is the optional Funeral Service Foundation Fund Day event, Now You’re Cookin’!, an evening of fine cooking and dining. Whether they are a pro in the kitchen or novice, attendees will work side-by-side a local chef to prepare the first and last courses of a four-course New Orleans-style dinner. Then, they will be treated to a behind-the-scenes look at how the chef and his staff prepare the rest of the meal. As a reward for their hard work, attendees will enjoy the amazing meal that they helped prepare. This event helps support the NFDA Professional Women’s Conference Scholarship Fund and the Foundation’s Women in Funeral Service Fund.
