The National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA), the world’s leading and largest funeral service association, is pleased to welcome Anthony Kaniuk as senior business development executive. In this post, Kaniuk will be responsible for building relationships with funeral service suppliers, assisting vendors with developing integrated marketing plans that take advantage of NFDA’s wide range of products and services, and other initiatives that will help support the work of NFDA and its members. His start date was February 5.

Anthony joins a department consisting of Director of Business Development Kellie Schilling, who has been with NFDA for more than 25 years, and Business Development Coordinator Karen Wicker, a recent addition to the NFDA staff.

“I am so pleased to have Anthony join our staff. NFDA’s relationships with its supplier partners are critically important, and not just as advertisers in The Director or participants in our annual expo,” said NFDA CEO Christine Pepper, CAE. “Suppliers are a vital resource and without their support, NFDA would not be able to provide its members with all of the services it offers. I look forward to seeing what this exceptional team will do to enhance NFDA’s relationships with these valued partners.”

“I am excited to be joining an association with such a rich history,” said Kaniuk. “I look forwarding to using my experience to support NFDA, its members and supplier partners.”

NFDA is the world’s leading and largest funeral service association, serving 19,700 individual members who represent more than 10,000 funeral homes in the United States and 39 countries around the world. NFDA is the trusted leader, beacon for ethics and the strongest advocate for the profession. NFDA is the association of choice because it offers funeral professionals comprehensive educational resources, tools to manage successful businesses, guidance to become pillars in their communities and the expertise to foster future generations of funeral professionals.
