Anthony Kaniuk Joins NFDA Business Development Team

The National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA), the world’s leading and largest funeral service association, is pleased to welcome Anthony Kaniuk as senior business development executive. In this post, Kaniuk will be responsible for building relationships with funeral service suppliers, assisting vendors with developing integrated marketing plans that take advantage of NFDA’s wide range of products and services, and other initiatives that will help support the work of NFDA and its members. His start date was February 5.

Anthony joins a department consisting of Director of Business Development Kellie Schilling, who has been with NFDA for more than 25 years, and Business Development Coordinator Karen Wicker, a recent addition to the NFDA staff.

“I am so pleased to have Anthony join our staff. NFDA’s relationships with its supplier partners are critically important, and not just as advertisers in The Director or participants in our annual expo,” said NFDA CEO Christine Pepper, CAE. “Suppliers are a vital resource and without their support, NFDA would not be able to provide its members with all of the services it offers. I look forward to seeing what this exceptional team will do to enhance NFDA’s relationships with these valued partners.”

Most recently, Kaniuk served as an associate publisher for Kates-Boylston Publications, publisher of American Funeral Director, American Cemetery and Funeral Service Insider. Kaniuk is currently serving as the president-elect of the International Memorialization Supply Association (IMSA).

“I am excited to be joining an association with such a rich history,” said Kaniuk. “I look forwarding to using my experience to support NFDA, its members and supplier partners.”
