Physicians Mutual Supports Funeral Service Foundation
Physicians Mutual, a premier provider of health, life and retirement insurance products, has contributed $100,000 to the Funeral Service Foundation. The recent donation will support the Foundation’s mission to fund funeral service projects and programs while building meaningful relationships in the community.
“We are grateful for Physicians Mutual’s generosity, and excited a company as strong as Physicians Mutual is a part of the funeral service profession,” said Kathy Wisnefski, Executive Director. “The Foundation looks forward to building a lasting partnership with such a respected and pioneering company.”
Physicians Mutual recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of Advanced Funding Solutions, a pre-need program created to meet the growing needs of funeral homes across the country. Advanced Funding Solutions is a collaboration between The Outlook Group, one of the nation’s largest pre-need marketing organizations, and Physicians Mutual.
“Physicians Mutual is honored to support the Funeral Service Foundation and we’re particularly excited to do this as we mark our first year in pre-need,” said Physicians Mutual Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Rob Reed. “We have partnered with one of the most trusted organizations in the funeral industry and together we will continue to help funeral home customers grow their business.”
The contribution from Physicians Mutual will directly support the Foundation’s proactive efforts to seek relevant and innovative funding opportunities that will enhance the deathcare profession and benefit funeral directors and allied professionals, thus making a timely impact on local communities.
