Lindley Promoted To Vice President Of Marketing By Flanner And Buchanan
INDIANAPOLIS – Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Centers today announced that Maureen Lindley has been promoted to Vice President of Marketing for the company, effective September 1.
Previously, she was the Director of Marketing; the title she’s held since July 2012. She joined the company in March 2009.
Her primary responsibility at Flanner and Buchanan is to build relationships and educate people in the community regarding funeral and cemetery planning.
Originally from New Albany, Indiana, she graduated from Ball State with an undergraduate degree in Public Relations and a Master’s degree in corporate training and development.
Prior to Flanner and Buchanan, she worked for an International organization training leaders in North and South America, as well as Asia. She also worked in the health insurance industry where she was responsible for the training needs of the customer service call center and quality control.
Lindley serves as a Board member for Trusted Mentors and is on the steering committee for We Honor Veteran’s. She has lived in Carmel for 15 years with her husband and three sons.
Founded in 1881, Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Centers is owned by Bruce and Brian Buchanan. The company now owns 16 event facilities throughout central Indiana — seven of which are combined with cemeteries — as well as its crematory, the Cremation Center of Indiana. Many of the centers also host weddings, reunions, business retreats and community events.
