FuneralHomeDirectory.com launches Newly Designed Website and Expands Database
The innovative online funeral home site, FuneralHomeDirectory.com, releases new design and increases database to over 30,000 funeral homes and cemeteries nationwide
On Monday July 22, 2013, FuneralHomeDirectory.com went live with a completely redesigned site with new colors, layout, features, and functionality. “We took feedback from our users and completely redesigned the site from the top down creating an intuitive experience with simplicity in mind, while continuing to push boundaries and innovate the industry,” says Avi Tal, FuneralHomeDirectory.com co-founder and partner.
“We took feedback from our users and completely redesigned the site from the top down creating an intuitive experience with simplicity in mind, while continuing to push boundaries and innovate the industry”
The creators of FuneralHomeDirectory.com announced the launch of the new design and updated features after months of development and beta testing. The site has seen a large increase in visitors and customers, and is now receiving thousands of unique monthly users. “We’ve seen huge growth over the past several months, and received a lot of feedback. We decided not to waste any time and began working on updates immediately,” says Tal.
The website was redesigned with the goal of creating a user-friendly experience, and focused on search results, color palettes, and responsive design elements. Strong emphasis was placed on the search results section, which is reflected in the newly designed listing and map area. “Our goal was to create a simple experience with a healthy blend of new technology,” said Tal. “Too many sites overcomplicate the process. We provide a one step solution to find what you’re looking for.”
FuneralHomeDirectory.com also announced expansion to include nationwide coverage of active cemeteries. These latest updates bring the total database to over 30,000 United States funeral homes, crematories, and cemeteries, giving the directory the largest and most up to date industry coverage, with plans to expand into Canada and other international markets. The already industry leading provider has no plans of stopping anytime soon, and plans for further breakthroughs in the near future. “We’re already in the process of developing some new exciting stuff that should really shake up the industry. We can’t give away too much but these updates are set to be released later in the year,” says Tal.
Funeral homes and cemeteries have the ability to claim their profiles for free and add information such as pricing, images, and more. These completed profiles are broadcasted amongst thousands of unique monthly site visitors searching for the services they provide. FuneralHomeDirectory.com also offers a verification process in which each business is manually screened to ensure the highest quality and standards.
FuneralHomeDirectory.com was founded by individuals with a background in the funeral home industry. Seeing a lack of comprehensive information about funeral services, the founders created FuneralHomeDirectory.com.
