Have You Ever Had A Pacemaker Explode During Cremation?
As most of you know pacemakers must be removed before cremation. Caleb Wilde pointed this out on the ‘Confessions of a Funeral Director‘ Facebook Page:
FACT: If pacemakers aren’t removed before cremation, they will explode in the crematorium, potentially causing upwards of $10,000 in damage to the lining of the retort.
Has this ever happened to you or someone you know?
What are some other things that can explode or cause damage during cremation? How about Fireworks, you should probably make sure fireworks don’t enter the crematorium!!!
