Wear the Pink, LLC to Unveil Their “Button-Up For Breast Cancer” Pink Blazers at the NFDA Expo In Charlotte, NC

Wear the Pink, LLC will be introducing their Pink Blazers to the funeral and cemetery industry at the upcoming NFDA International Convention in Charlotte, NC, October 7-10, 2012.

The company recently launched their product in August and have already received an overwhelming response from many of the firms that have had a chance to see the blazers firsthand. The company was formed as a joint effort between John Yopp, publisher/editor of the Southern Funeral Director Magazine and Dave Kelley, owner of FD Suits, both located in Atlanta, GA. “Wear the Pink” is a way the funeral home staff can “Button-up” in honor of that individual and family, by wearing in unison, the Pink Blazer during the service. It is an option that the funeral director can offer during the time of arrangement. This commitment by the funeral home staff displays a compassion and support to those fighting breast cancer and other cancerous diseases.

“I have always wanted to create an alternative type of service that the funeral director can offer during the time of arrangement. With personalization being on the forefront of funeral service, this is one more option that a funeral arranger can offer that shows unison and support for the families from the firm itself.,” says John Yopp.

Dave Kelley on the production side of the blazers says, “The blazers are made of a high quality, wool blended material that we manufacture right here in the United States. Kelley continues, “As we join in the fight for cancer, our company is committed to donate up to 12% of the proceeds from the sale of each blazer to Funeral Service Foundation and the American Cancer Society. In fact, we have already pledged $25,000 to FSF. This can only help in continued research, development, awareness, grants and increased screenings for this deadly disease.”
