Aurora Introduces Cremation Arrangement Guides for Tablets

AURORA, Ind., Aug. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Helping families navigate the different choices for cremation services has become easier with new arrangement guides from Aurora Casket Company. These customized guides are now available in printed form and for tablet presentation by funeral professionals.

“Families who elect for cremation have many choices for creating an appropriate and meaningful goodbye,” said Marty Strohofer, Director of Marketing and Product Management at Aurora. “We wanted to help funeral professionals present the various types of services by providing our Celebrating Life’s Journey guides in a tablet format.”

The Celebrating Life’s Journey cremation arrangement guides illustrate both traditional and non-traditional approaches to cremation services — from public visitations to memorial services and private family viewings. These guides can be tailored and customized for each funeral home and are available in print or tablet format at no cost.

Cremation continues to rise in popularity. But studies reveal that 90 percent of families who prefer cremation desire some type of memorial event for loved ones to grieve and say goodbye. “Many families don’t understand the choices they have with cremation,” Strohofer said. “We want to bring those choices to light.

“Our mission at Aurora is to help create an honorable closure to each life,” Strohofer added. “The Celebrating Life’s Journey arrangement guide helps families and funeral professionals do just that. Having this presentation available for tablet devices is one more way for funeral homes to interact with their families.”
