Brookfield, Wis. — The Funeral Service Foundation recognized 16 donors who completed their pledge commitments in 2011. The donors were honored at the Foundation’s Donor Reception held in conjunction with the National Funeral Directors Association’s national convention this past October in Chicago, Ill.

In addition, Ralph and Chari Buckner (center) of Ralph Buckner Foundation and Ralph Buckner Funeral Home were recognized at the FSF Donor Reception for their gift in memory of their daughter, Shipley.

Shaun Myers, Chair of the Funeral Service Foundation said, “Thanks to many generous donors like those who completed their pledges in 2011, the Funeral Service Foundation has become the charitable voice for our noble profession. With such broad support, the foundation is uniquely qualified to promote the best of what funeral service is about through grant-giving, research projects and public awareness campaigns.
