Tampa, FL – Foundation Partners Group is proud to announce that George Funeral Home & Cremation Center and South Carolina Cremation & Burial Society of Aiken and Graniteville, South Carolina, have chosen to join the Foundation Partners family.

“Combined, these two operations proudly serve over 300 families each year. George Funeral Home was the first funeral home in Aiken County and continues to be a premier provider for families. Having developed and grown the businesses, Ray Visotski has proven skills and cremation experience that we see as extremely valuable to our organization.” says Steve Shaffer, President and CEO. “We are pleased to welcome Ray and his team to our family.”

“As an owner and steward of key funeral service providers for the families of Aiken and the state of South Carolina, I felt a responsibility to plan for the long-term continuation of our tradition. I considered many options and selected Foundation Partners after great deliberation. With their team philosophy, openness, and commitment to service, my staff and the community will be well served by the decision,” said Ray Visotski. “I will remain very active and continue my passion and commitment to serving families.”

Jim Price, Executive Vice President & COO stated, “Ray was looking for a company that he can grow with. Our straight forward and flexible approach to teaming up with owners who are planning for the long term success and continuation of their funeral homes was appealing to Ray. This continuation of our growth strategy will be a nice complement to our existing operations in Columbia.”
