Eagle's Wings Air Continues to Soar – FL State Association Endorses EWA Service Model

For those of you who may have missed it, long time sponsor and CD supporter, Eagle’s Wings Air is having quite the year!

EWA Chairman Dave McComb (also co-owner of D.O. McComb & Sons in Fort Wayne, IN) is profiled in this month’s issue of the American Funeral Director as “The Master Investor”. EWA President & CEO, Frank Kaiser was profiled and pictured on the cover of both the American Funeral Director magazine earlier this year and a major air transportation publication called Forward just last month. The company also announced major deals to serve both Inman Worldwide Shipping and Service Corp International (SCI) – arguably #1 & #2 with regard to the volume of air transportation of the deceased. And now, the largest trade association in Florida – the FCCFA, has now joined the bandwagon and endorsed the company and their innovative service model (see the FCCFA Press Release below).

Endorses Eagle’s Wings Air

The FCCFA Endorsed Partner Program represents a carefully selected group of suppliers and service providers who are uniquely positioned to offer the FCCFA membership exceptional value. While considering whether to select Eagle’s Wings Air, FCCFA’s Board of Directors noted EWA’s innovative and trustworthy reputation, its proven airline and aviation security expertise, and its advocacy efforts on behalf of the entire funeral service profession within the airline community. “One of our missions is to identify cutting edge solutions which support the ability of our members’ to better serve their client families. This was an easy choice for us,” said Leigh Ann Bradley, FCCFA Executive Director.

FCCFA President, Lee Longino stated “EWA has tremendously helped our company, specifically our funeral directors in saving them time and minimizing any headaches that are involved with shipping human remains. We are able to allow our funeral directors to do what they do best, creating memorable celebrations for the families instead of spending time arranging air transportation. Our funeral directors’ focus is where it should be, with the families they serve thanks to EWA.”

Eagle’s Wings Air’s president & CEO, Frank Kaiser comments, “When considering human remains shipping from an air transportation perspective, “Heaven’s Waiting Room” (aka Florida) is the largest market in the country. The FCCFA member firms are well-versed in dealing with the various airlines and making arrangements for the air transportation of human remains. It is gratifying to have our single-source service model recognized as a new option for FCCFA members to save time while also offering a higher level of service to client families being served. We are truly honored to be partnering with one of the leading State Associations and their membership. “
