Brookfield, Wis. — The National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) has partnered with OurSimpleSurvey.com to offer funeral home owners and managers a powerful, affordable tool to help them measure client families’ satisfaction.

With NFDA OurSimpleSurvey, client families of member and nonmember funeral homes can provide feedback about the services they have received by completing a customized online survey. A paper-based survey for families without internet access can be printed through the NFDA OurSimpleSurvey system.

When a family member completes a survey, the results are immediately emailed to a designated staff person at the funeral home. A report, with data organized into easy-to-understand charts and graphs, is emailed to the funeral home on a weekly basis. Additional reports can be viewed online, providing owners and managers rich data that can be used to improve staff performance and services offered by the funeral home.

Additional reporting options allow owners and managers the opportunity to analyze and compare data in a number of different areas, such as performance scores for families that choose burial and those that choose cremation, the satisfaction of at-need and preneed clients, the performance of each arranger and more. Owners and managers will also be able to compare their funeral home’s performance with that of other funeral homes regionally and nationwide.

Funeral home owners and managers can obtain more information about NFDA OurSimpleSurvey by visiting www.oursimplesurvey.com/public/FuneralServices.htm or calling 800-228-6332.

NFDA is the world’s leading funeral service association, serving 18,500 individual members who represent more than 9,900 funeral homes in the United States and 43 countries around the world. From its headquarters in Brookfield, Wis., and its Advocacy Division office in Washington, D.C., NFDA is the worldwide source of expertise and professional resources for all facets of funeral service. Through education, information and advocacy, NFDA is dedicated to supporting members in their mission to provide families with meaningful end-of-life services at the highest levels of excellence and integrity.
