Exclusive: Suhor Industries Acquires Controlling Interest of Wilbert Funeral Services Inc.

imageSuhor Industries of Overland Park, KS. the largest shareholder, customer and licensee of Wilbert Funeral Services, Inc. in Chicago, announced today that they had acquired a controlling interest in that company (Wilbert Funeral Services Inc).

Suhor has a planned strategy to improve brand image and strengthen the licensee network.

Suhor Industries said, “We are excited about the challenges ahead and working with staff and the licensees to improve our brand image and strengthen the network.”

A letter from Wilbert Funeral Services Inc. announcing the shift of controlling interest was emailed out to licensees earlier today.

Unfortunately, the opioid epidemic isn’t much of a headline anymore. With over 100 overdose-related deaths everyday, we, as a country, have become desensitized to death and drugs. Funeral homes are charged with taking care of the final arrangements for those who have been taken from this earth too soon.
