imageBROADVIEW, IL ? Wilbert Funeral Services, Inc. announced that three of its marketing communications materials have received 2010 American Design Awards from Graphics Design USA. The three print efforts recognized with an award were the 2010-2011 Cremation Choices catalog, the Wilbert Image Library CD case and the Wilbert 2008 Annual Report.

Each year this design competition receives more than 8,000 entries, but only a handful receives a certificate of excellence. The awards are open to everyone in the design field ? from graphic design firms to corporate in-house departments ? in the areas of print and collateral design, corporate identity and logos, broadcast and motion graphics, Internet and interactive design, advertising and sales promotion and packaging and point-of-purchase.

“Receiving a 2010 American Design Award is a wonderful distinction,? stated Joe Weigel, Wilbert Vice President of Sales and Marketing. ?This recognition – along with the two GD USA In House Design awards we received earlier this year – is another indication that our marketing programs are effective and paying dividends for our licensees and the funeral homes they serve.?
