Competitiveness? Good or Bad? Important?
Consumers in any town now have choices when choosing a funeral home. For example, in the town where ConnectingDirectors.com is located, Zanesville, Ohio, there are 6 funeral homes!
Is competition a good or bad thing? I personally think competition is a great thing. Without competition there is nothing to drive us to better our business and service. Obviously providing the best service to the families that are served is the main driving force behind funeral homes, but striving to beat the competition is right at the top of the list as well.
The following video is from Gary Vaynerchuk, who is the Co-Founder of Vayner Media, and the mastermind behind the daily video blog Wine Library TV. Gary is very passionate and animate so I know some of his videos turn off certain people but I think this video is really worth listening to.
